Video posts and multiple media items

Instagram post links use /p/; Reels use /reel/. A post can contain one item or a carousel. When a configured source returns more than one authorized item, ClipIG lists each one separately.

A post URL does not guarantee that it contains video. The source determines the available media types and whether any files may be saved.

The source controls the file

Format, dimensions, duration and file size are displayed only when supplied by the source. ClipIG does not increase resolution, remove watermarks, transcode videos or promise a particular quality.

Media URLs may expire. If a link stops working, submit the original Instagram URL again to request fresh options.

Download versus Open Media

Download is shown only for a permitted file with an attachment delivery contract. Open Media indicates a permitted file that opens at its source. Cross-origin browser behavior and source headers can affect saving.

ClipIG does not copy videos to its own storage or operate a general-purpose download proxy.

Is ClipIG free?

The basic tool is planned to be free. Availability depends on the authorized media source. There is no guarantee that every link can be resolved.

Do I need an Instagram account?

ClipIG does not ask for your Instagram password. Some media sources may require an official authorization flow before media can be accessed.

Can I download Instagram Reels?

ClipIG recognizes Reels links. A real download is available only when a configured, authorized source supplies a permitted download URL.

Why can’t I download some videos?

The media may be deleted, private, unsupported, outside the source’s authorized scope, or unavailable because no provider is configured.

Does ClipIG support mobile devices?

The tool works in modern mobile and desktop browsers. How files are saved depends on your browser and the media source.

Is ClipIG affiliated with Instagram?

ClipIG is an independent service and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Instagram or Meta.

Can I download private videos?

ClipIG does not bypass private-account settings, login requirements, or content access restrictions.
